  I. Praise and Thanks:  Thanks to Denise Gallimore, Megan Garner, and Matt Cooke for their presence at Christmas in the City on Saturday, December 17 in Downtown Winston-Salem. We were able to put many smiles on the faces of children with the snowglobe craft and snowglobe photo booth. A very special thanks to Denise Gallimore for organizing this event, setting up & taking down the booth, and getting parent volunteers to participate. This was another meaningful opportunity for the Academy to get our name in the community. It really was a special event and I am grateful.  II. Praise and Thanks:  Thanks to Denise Gallimore for efforts in organizing and planning our participation in the upcoming Walkertown Holiday Parade.  Thanks to Alix Denny for her efforts in creating a new partnership with App State known as the Mountaineer Volunteers.  Thanks to Marla Cantrell for her efforts in organizing our Angel Tree.  Thanks to Chelsea Beamer, Ayden Tackett, Zane Gibson, Darron Daniels for their efforts with building the new SOAR Classroom!
